Chandigarh :19 February :ALPHA NEWS INDIA :—-As an endeavour to equip the tiny tots with the ability to recognize and relate green colour with various objects, ‘Green Day’ was celebrated by the Pre Primary wing of AKSIPS 45 with full fun and frolic.
All the teachers as well as the students of play way and Pre Nursery were dressed up in green. The classrooms also bore a green theme. Activities like ‘Show and Tell’ and colouring were organized for the kids. Rhymes were recited by the teachers. Children brought green snacks and eatables in their tiffins. They were also taken to the school garden where they walked on the green grass. Eating of green and leafy vegetables in order to lead a healthy life was stressed upon through stories and poems.
