Chandigarh : November 26th :ALPHA NEWS INDIA :- A Blood Donation Camp was been organized in Moti Ram Arya Sr. Sec. Model School Sector – 27 A,as its annual feature to commemorate and to pay homage to the great visionary- Late Sh. Hardayal Mahajan,on the occasion of his 20th death anniversary. It was organised in collaboration with the P.G.I Blood Transfusion Society.
The Camp was inaugrated by Sh. Sunil Gulati IAS , Additional Chief Secretary Govt. Haryana. it went on from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.on November, 2016.
51 cadets from 2nd B N NCC boys Chandigarh and parents of the school children donated for the noble cause very enthusiastically. Some of the societies also came forward for the purpose. Over 200 (Appx) donors donated blood. The school authoroties- Director Mrs. S. Mahajan and Principal Mrs. S. Savant and all the members of the staff were present.
Besides this,free medical/health check ups were also conducted and nearly 300 people got advantage of this camp.The camp was a grand success.
