CHANDIGARH ; 8TH DEC. ; ALPHA NEWS INDIA ;—–Proud moment for the city beautiful, which is going to organising annual “12 HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CHANDIGARH GOLFING TOUR” starting tomorrow being hosted by CHANDIGARH GOLF ASSOCIATION (CGA). There will be main 2 category ie NRI Category and invite category. So far 76 NRI from across the globe has registered and 60 officers / CEO’S of corporates/ VIP dignitaries have been invited to play the event. CITCO, Tourism Promotion Society and NRI affairs department Government of Punjab are the Associates and Hospitality partners. First day Forest Hill Resort, 2nd day will be hosted at Chandigarh Golf club and 3rd and final day will be played at Panchkula Golf Club followed by cultural events and dinner party every day.
CSR REDDY IPS, President of association said on the occasion that “CGA has been golf nursery in the country. Golf academy has already produced some big names At National and International golf circuit. It has already has very established golf coaching programme which is very best in the country. Hosting this type of event, association is trying to establish and extending support for budding golfer who visit USA/ AUSTRALIA / UK for playing international events and we extend lodging and boarding support”.
Organizing committee further informed that“ Aadil Bedi played world cup in USA this year and the NRI Sh Ajit Singh and Ruby Sangha extend all support in lodging and boarding and Aadil finished runner up in the World cup. We are trying to pool in resource from NRI and promoting India Golfers for their support from USA /UK in particular, in coming Olympic 2020 for the best golfers from the Tri-City too”.
