Chandigarh, 18th May, ALPHA NEWS INDIA DESK:–The Bar Council of Punjab and Haryana, Chandigarh, serving as the regulatory authority for advocates in Punjab and Haryana, upholds and enforces professional standards and etiquettes within the legal community.

Today, during a ceremony at the Punjab and Haryana Bar Council located in Sector 37, Chandigarh, under the esteemed guidance of Honorable Chairman Sh. Ashok Singla, Mr. Anand Rohilla, an Advocate practicing at the Punjab and Haryana High Court, has been nominated as a Co-opted Member of the Administrative Committee.
The selection of Mr. Rohilla as a member of the disciplinary committee is in accordance with the provisions outlined in Section 3(2) of the Advocates Act, 1961. Co-opted members are chosen from among advocates possessing the qualifications specified in the aforementioned section of the Act, yet are not currently serving as members of the Bar Council.
