CHANDIGARH ; 9TH MAY ; ALPHA NEWS INDIA desk  ;—–Inauguration of Workshop on Ethnic and Contemporary Cuisine at PU 
Prof. R.K. Gupta, Vice Chancellor, Maharaja Agrasen University has inaugurated the
five days Workshop on Ethnic and Contemporary Cuisine today at University Institute
of Hotel and Tourism Management, Panjab University (PU). This workshop is primarily
focused on understanding the intricacies of ethnic cuisine. Chef Jaswinder and Mr.
Anish Slath will be the master trainer for the workshop. Speaking at the occasion
Prof. Gupta has emphasized on the need of innovations in the modern food. He also
spoke about the fusion food. Prof. Gupta highlighted that there is a need of
continuous skill development for the upcoming chefs and such workshop are going to
play pivotal role in this regard. There are about 25 participants in the workshop.
Earlier Dr. Prashant Gautam, Director UIHTM Panjab University (PU) welcomed the
guests, trainers and participants.
