Honoured with 04 National Award under POSHAN Abhiyaan
Chandigarh: 23rd August : Alpha News India Desk : The City Beautiful has been awarded with 04 National Level Awards by the Ministry of Women & Child Development, New Delhi for exemplary performance and successful rollout of the POSHAN Abhiyaan. POSHAN Abhiyaan “India’s flagship programme- was launched by the Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 8th March 2018 to reduce stunting, under-nutrition, anemia, low birth weight by 2%, to 3% per annum respectively and to intensify awareness generation on the importance of nutrition for good health.
