Chandigarh, 23rd April : ALPHA NEWS INDIA DESK ;——- On the second day of training for Presiding Officers/Polling Officers at Government College Sector 10, fourteen Presiding/Polling Officers left the training venue without giving certificate regarding training and mandatory test.

A disciplinary action has been initiated against them by issuing show cause notices to all these officers under the Representation of the People Act, 1951. All of them have been issued a warning to continue the training as per the schedule, and appear for the test.
Further, four to five officers have not been able to clear the test given at the end of the training session, therefore all of them have been directed to attend the training again and reappear in the test.
